What is so special about vandotsch speculaas spice liqueur?
Some of our testers are describing it as liquid gingerbread with a kick, Speculoos flavoured vodka, even Christmas in a bottle.
How do you make it?
Easy, just add vodka to the bottle, using the little funnel included. Then leave it to sit for at least six weeks. Shake regularly and vigorously. After 6 weeks unscrew your bottle, smell and taste. When it is to your liking strain it and drink your first shot or mix it in one of your favourite cocktail recipes. You can even use it for a banana flambe or chcolate ganache. Refrigerate after straining.
What if you even want to make it stronger? Leave the bottle to sit for a few more weeks. Shake it occasionally.
What are the ingredients in the bottle?
Your bottle contains vandotsch speculaas ground spices, vandotsch speculaas spice mix, including nine spices including real, high grade, organic cinnamon from Sri Lanka, cloves, ginger and six other spices, light brown sugar and dried orange.
The vandotsch speculaas spice mix has no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Where possible, both our ground and whole spices are either organic, Fairtrade sourced or both.
What is in the pack?
With instructions included, it all comes in a 100ml bottle, ready to pour your vodka, together with a small funnel to assist the pouring. Just close the cap after you have filled the bottle and let time and a regular shake work its magic.

What else do you need?
All you need to start making delicious vandotsch speculaas liqueur at home is a bottle of vodka and a sieve or wire mesh strainer (or something equivalent). That's it. Just follow the directions above and drink responsibly.

No worries. It is also delicious as a topping over ice cream, such as our speculaas biscuits ice cream and for flavoring on pancakes and in many bakes and cakes.
